SHAMANIC RETREATS & SACRED PLANT CEREMONIES, HAWAII, HI
MUAISA-HALE-PULE
Landline only: please phone, no text
The Internet can be a hostile place, and not all guests who have joined us have been saints. No matter what your field of interest, the potential for opposing reviews seems to come with the territory. Due in part to the growing popularity of shamanism over the past number of years, Muaisa Hale Pule has found itself repeatedly cyberbullied by a revengeful, emotionally-unstable, former inmate, who came to volunteer for us in 2015 before we had our current, extensive, application screening process. (Yes, we learned the hard way). Within a matter of days of this fellow's being on property, he became violent and was asked to leave. The police intervened and suggested that we file for a restraining order. In that process, we were granted an Injunction Against Harassment by the District Court of the Third Circuit in Hawaii.
As soon as the subject individual left the islands shortly afterwards, however -- for some 8 years now --he has stalked, harassed, and obsessed on us online. Assisted by his girlfriend (‘clearriverofspirit’), a professional actress whom we have never met, he impersonates us, and the two of them pretend to be previous guests. They frequent websites at which they only need an email address to register and post harassing videos and fraudulent reviews of us; then they reference back and forth between their own various fraudulent reviews to promote libelous claims. More recently, they have also started using free iPhone software to spoof our Caller ID and misrepresent themselves as us in a campaign of telephoning random, potential guests in the shamanic and sacred plant ceremony communities, spewing offensive language.
Although we were granted an Injunction Against Harassment naming this person, when infractions of this nature take place across State lines and involve Smart Phones and/or the Internet, there is little that either local law enforcement and/or the FCC can do -- or are willing to do -- to curtail or prevent such offenses from occurring. The Hawaii Police Department advised us to simply ask the various website owners involved to delete his disparaging reviews and comments.
Most of the website owners we have contacted have been remarkably cooperative in removing the reported content. One website owner, however, took immediate exception to us upon our asking and requested that we instead allow him to contact the cyber-bully, suggesting that we be prepared to pay him financially upon his convincing this person to remove their revengeful review. When we rejected this proposal as, for starters, our contacting the Respondent ether directly or indirectly would invalidate our restraining order, the website owner took offense, ghosted us from the website, terminated all communication with us on the spot, and began adding his own unfounded, hateful opinion of us to the already toxic listing, effectively making an onslaught of unfounded accusations and offering us no right or avenue of rebuttal.
Please be extremely cautious of all third party videos and defamatory reviews of us online, and double check any questionable claims and/or one-star reviews you may read or phone calls you may receive from a Caller ID that displays our name and phone number. The only legitimate person making telephone calls from our phone number is Dr. ZZ, and she makes a practice of not telephoning anyone who hasn't first contacted us requesting information.
For those who encounter any of these toxic reviews and remain skeptical, we are always available by phone to address any concerns you may have. We also have a phone tree of women who have been to Muaisa Hale Pule, have completed programs with us, and have willingly volunteered permission to have others telephone them for their honest, first-hand opinions. If -- in order to settle your heart on this matter before you visit us -- you would like access to this phone list, please let us know.
Genuine apologies for any confusion and/or inconvenience this may cause!
